    thats amazing, i feel very inspired that she would do that for alex. its very selfless (although it probably boosted her veiwers, but still) and its generous. thank you ellen, as hopefully some people realize actions speak louder than words ^.^ god bless you alex!!

    I can remember being so worried with how they were gonna do Alex’s performance in the finale – because I didn’t want anyone to “taint” the amazingness that was Alex in this routine – but I felt bringing Ellen is was perfect, it p[aid just enough tribute without trying to emulate Alex, or take away from what he achieved performing it, perfect balance.
